On August 24, 2016, at 3:36 AM, a devastating earthquake struck Central Italy, with a magnitude of 6.2. Its epicenter lay near Visso, a quiet town nestled at the crossroads of Umbria, Lazio, Abruzzo, and Marche.  

In mere moments, lives were shattered, entire communities reduced to rubble, and a death toll of 299 marked one of Italy’s darkest days. This documentary delves into the heart of Visso’s tragedy, uncovering the resilience, heartbreak, and humanity that rose from the ruins. 

This is more than a story—it's a testament to survival.
